LORD thy God giveth thee.

A Church Emergecy Preparedness Ministry

Church groups need to hear the message of emergency preparedness. Churches need to be taught the benefit of:

1. Having emergency food on hand for their staff, volunteers members and community.

2. Having a workable continuity of operations plan for their ministries.

3. knowing what to do before a disaster strikes.

4. Appointing someone in the church to take the lead and teach preparedness to familes and encourage them to make plans, store emergency items and train for emergencies.

Perhaps the best person to get this done in your church is YOU. Why not consider developing an emergency preparedness ministry in your church?

Your Faith Community Needs You!!

Your faith community needs to be prepared and you can be the person to get it done. Learn how to organize and run a faith based preparedness program for your congregation and the families in the congregation. This program can also be a community outreach for those in need during an emergency or disaster.

Not only can you be the point person for a preparedness ministry, but you can also do this for additional income for yourself, or as a fundraiser for your church.

This is a biblical ministry according to the scriptures. Here are the steps to get started:

Order your own emergency food and build up a storehouse. Our unique food program is actually extended shelf-life foods that you can eat everyday, replacing what you normally buy at the grocery store. However, because these freeze-dried foods can last for years, they are also your back up emergency food storage. Use your normal grocery budget to buy your food and set some of the long-term foods aside for emergency preparedness. It's that easy!!

Join our team and market this unique emergency food program to churches, non-profits, and to families. Become a local faith community preparedness advisor helping others to see the biblical message of preparedness and helping fellow believers with the skills and products they need to get prepared.

IS Prepping A LAck of Faith and Promoting Fear?

We have heard many believers state that building up a supply of food and other items is a lack of faith and "moving in fear." Yet, if we challenged them to show us scripture to back their claim the best they can do is show us one passage of scripture in Matthew 6:25-34, in which Jesus states "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'" (Matthew 6:31 WEB)

And our response is that we agree with what Jesus says in this passage. In fact, we should never have anxiety over our food, our water, our home, our families, our money, or anything. In 2 Timothy 1:7 (YLT), the scriptures tell us: "for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;". Therefore, we should not live in the fear of how or what we will eat if a disaster strikes. Being prepared before a disaster strikes prevents anxiety when the storms of life actually do strike.

With that said, let us clarify a few things. The context of the passage in Matthew chapter 6 is talking about worrying more about this current life we live in and giving very little thought to our eternal life.

Jesus said: "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon. Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" (Matthew 6:24-25 WEB)
                                            - Serve God, Not Money -

We can't take a single passage of scripture about not focusing on earthly things, or not having anxiety over life and say that Jesus was commanding us to never plan, or prepare for the future. We believe that every message of Jesus was in harmony with the rest of scripture and always "in context." We have proof that the scriptures encourage us to be prepared and to build a storehouse, so that we don't have anxiety when disaster strikes.

In fact, the scriptures label you "foolish" if you see danger or the potential for danger and you do nothing to protect yourself (Proverbs 27:12). This verse does not stand isolated within the bible, because we also see many more passages of scripture and biblical examples that are given to encourage us to prepare for emergencies. Is all this contrary to what Jesus taught in Matthew chapter 6? Of course not, because his message was never meant to discourage people from planning, or being prepared. The message of Jesus was about having the right perspective in everything we do in life. We should not become a servant of money just to buy things, but instead we should always keep a heavenly focus and put God first above all else in life.

"You can't serve both God and Mammon" [Mammon is earthy greed, gluttony, dishonest gain, etc.]

Our book on Biblical Prepping shows you the true message of scripture and refutes those who say it is more godly to never prepare, because they believe you can just sit back and wait for God to rain down Mana from heaven. According to scripture this line of thinking is incorrect. We believe you need to interpret scripture using balance and context. However, the critics of biblically prepping fail to do this and in fact, most really have a lot of presumption and foolishness within their critical remarks. These people do not operate in real biblical faith, yet they often point fingers and remark that the prepper is the one who lacks faith. If they only knew that the bible refutes their hypocritical thinking.

We see our business as a ministry to help prepare believers and the church as a whole, in order to prepare churches for what the bible predicts will be waiting for us down the road. Therefore, people can choose to ignore prophetic scripture and face these things unprepared or they can believe the scriptures, act with wisdom, and build a storehouse (Proverbs 21:20) of items they can survive and share with others when disaster comes, or the predicted events of biblical prophecy manifest.
